DANIEL 10 : 10 À 21 ***
10 ¶ Et voici, une main me toucha, et secoua mes genoux et mes mains.
11 Puis il me dit : Daniel, homme bien-aimé, sois attentif aux paroles que je vais te dire, et tiens-toi debout à la place où tu es ; car je suis maintenant envoyé vers toi. Lorsqu’il m’eut ainsi parlé, je me tins debout en tremblant.
12 Il me dit : Daniel, ne crains rien ; car dès le premier jour où tu as eu à cœur de comprendre, et de t’humilier devant ton Dieu, tes paroles ont été entendues, et c’est à cause de tes paroles que je viens.
13 Le chef du royaume de Perse m’a résisté vingt et un jours ; mais voici, Micaël, l’un des principaux chefs, est venu à mon secours, et je suis demeuré là auprès des rois de Perse.
14 Je viens maintenant pour te faire connaître ce qui doit arriver à ton peuple dans la suite des temps ; car la vision concerne encore ces temps-là.
15 Tandis qu’il m’adressait ces paroles, je dirigeai mes regards vers la terre, et je gardai le silence.
16 Et voici, quelqu’un qui avait l’apparence des fils de l’homme toucha mes lèvres. J’ouvris la bouche, je parlai, et je dis à celui qui se tenait devant moi : Mon seigneur, la vision m’a rempli d’effroi, et j’ai perdu toute vigueur.
17 Comment le serviteur de mon seigneur pourrait-il parler à mon seigneur ? Maintenant les forces me manquent, et je n’ai plus de souffle.
18 Alors celui qui avait l’apparence d’un homme me toucha de nouveau, et me fortifia.
19 Puis il me dit : Ne crains rien, homme bien-aimé, que la paix soit avec toi ! courage, courage ! Et comme il me parlait, je repris des forces, et je dis : Que mon seigneur parle, car tu m’as fortifié.
20 Il me dit : Sais-tu pourquoi je suis venu vers toi ? Maintenant je m’en retourne pour combattre le chef de la Perse ; et quand je partirai, voici, le chef de Javan viendra.
21 Mais je veux te faire connaître ce qui est écrit dans le livre de la vérité. Personne ne m’aide contre ceux-là, excepté Micaël, votre chef.

une main me toucha. Le plus vraisemblable est qu’il s’agit ici de Gabriel, qui interpréta d’autres révélations pour Daniel (cf. #Da 8:16). En outre, en #Da 9:20-23 il appelait aussi Daniel « bien-aimé ».
10:12
tes paroles ont été entendues. C’était un grand encouragement de la part de Dieu: il avait été attentif à la prière et travaillait à son exaucement (cf. #Da 9:20-27).
10:13
chef … de Perse. Ce retard de trois semaines était dû à un ange déchu qui s’était opposé à Gabriel dans les conflits célestes (cf. #Ap 16:12-14), s’efforçant de contrecarrer l’œuvre de Dieu. Cela indique que Satan est engagé dans un combat céleste visant à influencer les générations et les nations contre Dieu et contre son peuple (cf. #Ep 6:10ss).
Micaël. C’est le chef des anges, dans le ciel (cf. #Da 10:21 ; #Da 12: 1 ; #Jude 9 ; #Ap 12: 7). Il s’assura que les Juifs seraient libres de revenir sur leur terre.

dans la suite des temps. Cela renvoie au plan futur de Dieu pour son peuple, de l’époque de Daniel jusqu’à celle de l’Antéchrist.

je repris des forces. C’était la troisième fois (vv. #Da 10:10, #Da 10:16), ce qui démontre le bouleversement que provoquent la présence et la révélation divines.

chef de Javan. Un ange déchu luttant pour la Grèce.

le livre de la vérité. C’est-à-dire le plan de Dieu, avec ses objectifs certains et vrais pour les hommes et pour les nations, qu’il peut choisir de révéler (#Da 11:2 ; #Esa 46:9-11).
excepté Micaël. L’ange devait se charger des démons de Perse et de Grèce avec Micaël. Tel était le fondement céleste de l’exposé de l’histoire terrestre fourni par #Da 11:2-35.

10 ¶ And, behold, a hand touched me , and my knees and my hands .
11 And he said unto me, O Daniel , man greatly beloved , understand the words that I say to you , and stand upright in the place where you are; because I am now sent to you . When he had thus spoken to me, I stood trembling .
12 He said to me, Daniel , fear not ; for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand , and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and it is because of your words that I have .
13 The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days; but , lo, Michael , one of the chief princes, came to help me , and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days ; for the vision is yet for many days.
15 While he spake these words to me , I set my face toward the earth, and I kept silence.
16 And behold, there was the appearance of the son of man touched my lips . I opened my mouth , I spoke , and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord , vision filled me with dread , and I have retained no strength .
17 How the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? Remained no strength in me , and I have no breath.
18 Then the one who had the appearance of a man touched me again and strengthened me .
19 And he said unto me , Fear not , O man greatly beloved , peace be with you! Courage , courage ! And as he spoke to me , I was strengthened , and said, Let my lord speak , for you have strengthened me .
20 He said to me : Do you know why I came to you? Now I return to fight with the prince of Persia ; and when I leave , lo, the prince of Grecia shall come .
21 But I will shew thee what is written in the book of truth. Nobody helps me against these, but Michael your prince.

a hand touched me . The most likely is that this is Gabriel , who played more revelations to Daniel (see # Da 8:16 ) . In addition, # Da 9:20-23 he also called Daniel "beloved ."
10:12
thy words were heard. It was a great encouragement from God : he was attentive to prayer and worked its fulfillment (cf. # Da 9:20-27 ) .
10:13
head ... from Persia . This three-week delay was due to a fallen angel who was opposed to Gabriel in heavenly conflict (cf. Rev 16:12-14 # ) , trying to thwart the work of God. This indicates that Satan is engaged in a heavenly struggle to influence generations and nations against God and his people (cf. Eph 6:10 # ff).
Michael. This is the head of the angels in heaven (cf. # Da 10:21 ; Da # 12 : 1; # Jude 9; # Rev 12 : 7). He assured that the Jews would be free to return to their land .
10:14
in the course of time . This refers to God's future plan for his people, from the time of Daniel to that of the Antichrist.
10:19
I regained strength . It was the third time (vv. # Da 10:10 # Da 10:16 ) , which demonstrates the upheaval caused the presence and divine revelation.
10:20
prince of Grecia . A fallen angel fighting for Greece.
10:21
the book of truth. That is to say, God's plan , with some real goals and for men and nations, it may choose to reveal (# Da 11:2 ; # Esa 46:9-11 ) .
except Michael. The angel was to make the demons of Persia and Greece with Michael. This was the foundation of the heavenly presentation of earth's history provided by # Da 11:2-35 .
