ÉZÉKIEL 1: 1-2-3 ***
1 ¶ La trentième année, le cinquième jour du quatrième mois, comme j’étais parmi les captifs du fleuve du Kebar, les cieux s’ouvrirent, et j’eus des visions divines.
2 Le cinquième jour du mois, c’était la cinquième année de la captivité du roi Jojakin, —
3 la parole de l’Eternel fut adressée à Ezéchiel, fils de Buzi, le sacrificateur, dans le pays des Chaldéens, près du fleuve du Kebar ; et c’est là que la main de l’Eternel fut sur lui.

cinquième année. C’est-à-dire en 593 av. J.-C. Le roi, Ezéchiel et 10 000 sujets (#2R 24:14) avaient été déportés à Babylone en 597 av. J.-C. Ezéchiel avait alors 25 ans.

la parole de l’Eternel … la main de l’Eternel. Comme il l’avait fait pour Esaïe (#Esa 6:5-13) et pour Jérémie (#Jér 1:14-19), Dieu prépara Ezéchiel à recevoir sa révélation et l’affermit en vue de la tâche qu’il lui confiait, aussi ardue que noble, d’être son porte-parole.

¶ 1 In the thirtieth year, on the fifth day of the fourth month , as I was among the captives by the river Chebar , the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God .
2 In the fifth day of the month , which was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin -
3 The word of the LORD came to Ezekiel , son of Buzi the priest, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar , and this is where the hand of the LORD was upon him.

fifth year. That is to say, in 593 BC. AD King , Ezekiel and 10,000 subjects ( # 2R 24:14 ) were deported to Babylon in 597 BC. BC Ezekiel was 25 years old .

the word of the Lord ... the hand of the Lord . As he had done for Isaiah (# Isa 6:5-13 ) and Jeremiah (# Jer 1:14-19 ) , God Ezekiel prepared to receive his revelation and strengthened for the task that he trusted, as difficult as noble , to be his spokesman .
