15 ¶ Je regardais ces animaux ; et voici, il y avait une roue sur la terre, près des animaux, devant leurs quatre faces.
16 A leur aspect et à leur structure, ces roues semblaient être en chrysolithe, et toutes les quatre avaient la même forme ; leur aspect et leur structure étaient tels que chaque roue paraissait être au milieu d’une autre roue.
17 En cheminant, elles allaient de leurs quatre côtés, et elles ne se tournaient point dans leur marche.
18 Elles avaient une circonférence et une hauteur effrayantes, et à leur circonférence les quatre roues étaient remplies d’yeux tout autour.
19 Quand les animaux marchaient, les roues cheminaient à côté d’eux ; et quand les animaux s’élevaient de terre, les roues s’élevaient aussi.
20 Ils allaient où l’esprit les poussait à aller ; et les roues s’élevaient avec eux, car l’esprit des animaux était dans les roues.
21 Quand ils marchaient, elles marchaient ; quand ils s’arrêtaient, elles s’arrêtaient ; quand ils s’élevaient de terre, les roues s’élevaient avec eux, car l’esprit des animaux était dans les roues.
22 Au-dessus des têtes des animaux, il y avait comme un ciel de cristal resplendissant, qui s’étendait sur leurs têtes dans le haut.
23 Sous ce ciel, leurs ailes étaient droites l’une contre l’autre, et ils en avaient chacun deux qui les couvraient, chacun deux qui couvraient leurs corps.
24 J’entendis le bruit de leurs ailes, quand ils marchaient, pareil au bruit de grosses eaux, ou à la voix du Tout-Puissant ; c’était un bruit tumultueux, comme celui d’une armée ; quand ils s’arrêtaient, ils laissaient tomber leurs ailes.
25 Et il se faisait un bruit qui partait du ciel étendu sur leurs têtes, lorsqu’ils s’arrêtaient et laissaient tomber leurs ailes.

une roue. Cela décrit le jugement de Dieu comme une machine de guerre (comme un char de guerre impressionnant) se dirigeant vers le lieu où il a décidé d’exercer son jugement. En #1Ch 28:18, le terme de « char » est employé en rapport avec les chérubins placés au-dessus de l’arche de l’alliance.
chaque roue … au milieu d’une autre roue. Cela décrit l’énorme énergie (v. #Ez 1:15 « sur la terre », v. 18 « hauteur ») déployée par les révolutions complexes de l’énorme machinerie du jugement de Dieu, qui atteint ses buts avec une certitude sans faille.
ne se tournaient point. Cf. vv. #Ez 1:9, #Ez 1:12. La machine du jugement se déplace avec les anges (cf. vv. #Ez 1:19-20).
yeux. Probable évocation de l’omniscience, c’est-à-dire la parfaite connaissance, de Dieu; il l’octroie à ses serviteurs angéliques pour les rendre capables de juger sans erreur. Dieu ne fait jamais rien sous l’effet d’une impulsion aveugle.
l’Esprit. Voir la note sur le v. 12 {==> "Ez 1:12"}.
bruit de grosses eaux. Image renvoyant à des pluies torrentielles et dévastatrices ou au choc de grosses vagues contre les rochers (cf. #Ez 43:2 ; #Ap 1:15 ; #Ap 14:2 ; #Ap 19:6).
un bruit. Il s’agit sans aucun doute de la « voix du Tout-Puissant » (v. #Ez 1:24), puisque le trône de Dieu se trouvait « sur leurs têtes » (v. #Ez 1:25).

¶ 15 I beheld the living creatures , behold, there was a wheel on the earth beside the living creatures, with his four faces.
16 The appearance and structure of the wheels seemed to be beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
17 While walking , they went upon their four sides , and they turned not when they went.
18 They had a circumference and a frightening height and circumference of the four wheels were full of eyes all around.
19 When the living creatures went , the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures rose from the earth , the wheels were lifted up.
20 They went where the spirit was to go , and the wheels rose along with them , because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
21 When they went, these went , and when they stopped , they stopped and when they rose from the earth , the wheels rose along with them , because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
22 Above the heads of animals, there were like a sky shining crystal , which stretched over their heads above .
23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one against the other , and they each had two which covered each two covered their bodies.
24 I heard the noise of their wings when they went, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, it was a tumultuous noise , like an army , and when they stopped , they let down their wings.
25 And there was a voice from the extended over their heads , when they stood, they let down their wings.

1:15-25 Section focuses on the glory of the throne of God in heaven.
a wheel. This describes God's judgment as a war machine (like a tank impressive war ) pointing to the place where he decided to exercise his judgment. In # 1Ch 28:18 , the term " tank " is used in connection with the cherubim placed above the ark of the covenant.
each wheel ... in the middle of a wheel. This describes the enormous energy (see Ezekiel 1:15 # " on the ground ", c. 18 "height" ) deployed by the revolutions of the huge complex machinery of God's judgment , which achieves its goals without certainty fault.
turned not . Cf. vv. # Ezekiel 1:9 , Ezekiel 1:12 # . The machine moves the judgment with the angels (cf. vv. # Ez 1:19-20 ) .
eyes. Likely evocation of omniscience , that is to say, the perfect knowledge of God, he gives his angelic servants to enable them to judge without error. God never does anything as a result of a blind impulse .
the Spirit. See the note on ver. { 12 == > " Ez 1:12 "} .
sound of many waters . Image referring to torrential rains and devastating or shock waves against the rocks (cf. Ez 43:2 # , # Rev 1:15 , Rev 14:2 # , # Rev 19:6 ) .
noise . This is undoubtedly the "voice of the Almighty " (v. # Ez 1:24 ) , because God's throne was " over their heads " (v. # Ez 1:25 ) .
