ÉZÉKIEL 24 : 1 À 8 ***
1 ¶ La neuvième année, le dixième jour du dixième mois, la parole de l’Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:
2 Fils de l’homme, mets par écrit la date de ce jour, de ce jour-ci ! Le roi de Babylone s’approche de Jérusalem en ce jour même.
3 Propose une parabole à la famille de rebelles, et dis-leur : Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Eternel : Place, place la chaudière, et verses-y de l’eau.
4 Mets-y les morceaux, tous les bons morceaux, la cuisse, l’épaule ; remplis-la des meilleurs os.
5 Choisis dans le troupeau, et entasse du bois sous la chaudière ; fais bouillir à gros bouillons, et que les os qui sont dedans cuisent aussi.
6 C’est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Eternel : Malheur à la ville sanguinaire, chaudière pleine de rouille, et dont la rouille ne se détache pas ! Tires-en les morceaux les uns après les autres, sans recourir au sort.
7 Car le sang qu’elle a versé est au milieu d’elle ; elle l’a mis sur le roc nu, elle ne l’a pas répandu sur la terre pour le couvrir de poussière.
8 Afin de montrer ma fureur, afin de me venger, j’ai répandu son sang sur le roc nu, pour qu’il ne fût pas couvert.

en ce jour même. C’est-à-dire le 15 janvier 588 av. J.-C. (en prenant l’an 597 comme base, ainsi qu’en #Ez 1: 2), début d’un siège de Jérusalem par les Babyloniens qui durerait dix-huit mois (#Jér 39: 1-2 ; #Jér 52: 4-12).

Propose une parabole. Les meilleurs morceaux de viande d’agneau symbolisent le troupeau de Dieu bouilli dans une marmite et évoquent la situation de Jérusalem, dans la fournaise occasionnée par le siège. Cf. #Ez 11: 3. Les os d’animaux était couramment utilisés comme combustible.
24: 6
Malheur à la ville sanguinaire. La population de Jérusalem s’était rendue coupable d’une corruption meurtrière, ce qu’évoque la rouille ou l’écume bouillante dans la marmite (cf. #Ez 22: 2).
24: 7
le sang. Le sang de la ville (symbole général du péché) était exposé à la vue de tous au lieu d’être caché, comme l’évoque le sang placé au sommet d’un rocher. Si le sang n’était pas recouvert de poussière, il y avait violation de la loi (#Lé 17: 13). La vengeance divine s’accomplirait par l’intermédiaire de l’armée babylonienne.

¶ 1 In the ninth year , in the tenth day of the tenth month, the word of the LORD came unto me , saying :
2 Son of man, write thee the date of this day , to this day ! The king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day .
3 And utter a parable to the rebellious house , and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Place Place the boiler, and also pour water.
4 Put the pieces there , every good piece , the thigh, shoulder , fill it with the choice bones .
5 choice of the flock , and piles of wood in the boiler, make it boil , and let the bones that are cooked in too.
6 Therefore thus saith the Lord God : Woe to the bloody city , to the pot rust, and whose scum is not gone out of it! Tires - in pieces one after the other , without resorting to fate.
7 For the blood she shed is in her midst , she put on the bare rock , it has not spread on the ground to cover it with dust .
8 To show my wrath to take vengeance, I have set her blood on the bare rock, that it should not be covered .

in the same day. That is to say 15 January 588 BC. BC (taking the year 597 as a base, as well as Ez # 1: 2) , beginning a siege of Jerusalem by the Babylonians that would last eighteen months (# Jer 39: 1-2 , # Jer 52 : 4-12) .

A parable . The best pieces of lamb symbolize God's flock boiled in a pot and evoke the situation of Jerusalem, in the furnace caused by the siege. # Cf. Ez 11 : 3. Animal bones was commonly used as fuel.

Woe to the bloody city. The population of Jerusalem was guilty of a murderous corruption, evoked rust or boiling foam in the pot (cf. Ez # 22: 2).
24 : 7
blood . The blood of the city (general symbol of sin ) was exposed to the view of all instead of being hidden, as evoked blood placed on top of a rock. If the blood was not covered with dust, there was violation of the law (# Lev 17: 13). Divine vengeance would be accomplished through the Babylonian army .
