ÉZÉKIEL 9 : 4-5-6-7 ***
4 L’Eternel lui dit : Passe au milieu de la ville, au milieu de Jérusalem, et fais une marque sur le front des hommes qui soupirent et qui gémissent à cause de toutes les abominations qui s’y commettent.
5 ¶ Et, à mes oreilles, il dit aux autres : Passez après lui dans la ville, et frappez ; que votre œil soit sans pitié, et n’ayez point de miséricorde !
6 Tuez, détruisez les vieillards, les jeunes hommes, les vierges, les enfants et les femmes ; mais n’approchez pas de quiconque aura sur lui la marque ; et commencez par mon sanctuaire ! Ils commencèrent par les anciens qui étaient devant la maison.
7 Il leur dit : Souillez la maison, et remplissez de morts les parvis ! … Sortez ! … Ils sortirent, et ils frappèrent dans la ville.

une marque sur le front. Puisque le départ de Dieu retirait au peuple toute protection, le livrant à la destruction, il était indispensable que le scribe angélique (l’ange de l’Eternel) signale clairement les justes restés fidèles à Dieu, afin que celui-ci les protège. Ceux qui ne portaient pas cette marque étaient susceptibles de périr pendant le siège babylonien (v. #Ez 9:5), car elle désignait les élus de Dieu, identifiés personnellement par le Christ avant son incarnation. C’était lui qui marquait les élus (cf. #Ex 12:7). #Mal 3:16-18 contient une idée similaire. Cf. #Ap 7:3 ; #Ap 9:4. Ceux qui portaient la marque étaient des hommes repentants et étaient identifiés ainsi pour leur protection. Le reste fidèle jouirait d’un délai, accordé par grâce; les autres étaient condamnés à la perdition (vv. #Ez 9:5-7).

4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, in the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that are committed in it .
5 ¶ And to my ears, the others he said : Go ye after him through the city , and smite: let not your eye without pity , neither have ye pity:
6 Slay utterly old and young , both maids , children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark : and begin at my sanctuary ! They began with the elders who were before the house .
7 He said to them , Defile the house , and fill the courts with the slain ! Take ... ! They ... went forth, and slew in the city.

a mark on the forehead. Since the departure of God took the people any protection, engaged in destruction , it was essential that the angelic scribe ( the angel of the Lord ) indicates clearly just remained faithful to God , so that it protects . Those who do not wear this brand were likely to die during the Babylonian siege (v. # Ez 9:5 ) , because it meant the elect of God, identified personally by Christ prior to his incarnation. It was he who scored the elect ( cf. # Ex 12:7). # Mal 3:16-18 contains a similar idea. # Cf. Rev 7:3 , Rev 9:4 # . Those who bore the mark were repentant men were identified and for their protection. The faithful remnant would have a delay, by grace , while others were condemned to destruction (vv. # Ez 9:5-7 ) .
