17 Fais sortir avec toi tous les animaux de toute chair qui sont avec toi, tant les oiseaux que le bétail et tous les reptiles qui rampent sur la terre : qu’ils se répandent sur la terre, qu’ils soient féconds et multiplient sur la terre.
18 Et Noé sortit, avec ses fils, sa femme, et les femmes de ses fils.
19 Tous les animaux, tous les reptiles, tous les oiseaux, tout ce qui se meut sur la terre, selon leurs espèces, sortirent de l’arche.

Dans le processus de rétablissement de l’ordre créé qu’il avait jugé en le détruisant, Dieu répéta les paroles de bénédiction qu’il avait prononcées sur les créatures non humaines (#Ge 1:22). Noé se retrouva dans un monde nouveau où la longévité commença immédiatement à diminuer; la terre fut soumise aux orages et au mauvais temps, à la chaleur ardente et au froid glacial, à l’activité sismique et aux catastrophes naturelles.
20 ¶ Noé bâtit un autel à l’Éternel ; il prit de toutes les bêtes pures et de tous les oiseaux purs, et il offrit des holocaustes sur l’autel.
bâtit un autel. Il le fit en signe d’adoration envers le Dieu qui était resté fidèle à son alliance en l’épargnant, lui et sa famille.
21 L’Éternel sentit une odeur agréable, et l’Éternel dit en son cœur : Je ne maudirai plus la terre, à cause de l’homme, parce que les pensées du cœur de l’homme sont mauvaises dès sa jeunesse ; et je ne frapperai plus tout ce qui est vivant, comme je l’ai fait.
sentit une odeur agréable. Dieu accepta le sacrifice de Noé.
maudirai … frapperai. Indépendamment de tout le péché qui pourrait caractériser l’humanité à l’avenir, Dieu promit de ne plus inonder la terre (cf. #Ge 9:11).
22 Tant que la terre subsistera, les semailles et la moisson, le froid et la chaleur, l’été et l’hiver, le jour et la nuit ne cesseront point.
Tant que la terre subsistera. Il y eut plusieurs changements suite au déluge mondial, mais Dieu rétablit le cycle des saisons après l’interruption due à la catastrophe.

17 Bring forth with thee every living thing of all flesh that is with you, the birds, the cattle, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth: they spread on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.
18 And Noah went out, with his son, his wife and the wives of his son.
19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every bird, everything that moves on the earth, after their kinds, went out of the ark.
be fruitful and multiply. In the recovery process of the established order he had tried in destroying God repeated the blessing words he had spoken on non-human creatures (#Ge 1:22). Noah found himself in a new world where longevity immediately began to decline; the land was subject to storms and bad weather, the fierce heat and bitter cold, to seismic activity and natural disasters.
¶ 20 Noah built an altar to the Lord; and took of every clean animal and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
built an altar. He did it in sign of worship to the God who had remained faithful to his covenant saver him and his family.
21 And the Lord smelled a sweet savor; and the LORD said in his heart, I will never again curse the ground because of man, because the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; and I will destroy every living thing, as I did.
smelled a sweet odor. God accepted the sacrifice of Noah.
... curse will strike. Regardless of any sin that might characterize humanity in the future, God promised not to flood the earth (cf. #Ge 9:11).
22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
As long as the earth remains. There were several changes following the global flood, but God restores the cycle of seasons after the interruption caused by the disaster.
