70:1-6
Cette prière pour être délivré d’ennemis est presque identique à 40:14-18. À « Éternel » elle substitue « Dieu » aux vv. 2, 5-6.
2 (70-3) Qu’ils soient honteux et confus, ceux qui en veulent à ma vie ! Qu’ils reculent et rougissent, ceux qui désirent ma perte !
3 (70-4) Qu’ils retournent en arrière par l’effet de leur honte, Ceux qui disent : Ah ! ah !
4 (70-5) Que tous ceux qui te cherchent Soient dans l’allégresse et se réjouissent en toi ! Que ceux qui aiment ton salut Disent sans cesse : Exalté soit Dieu !
5 (70-6) Moi, je suis pauvre et indigent : O Dieu, hâte-toi en ma faveur ! Tu es mon aide et mon libérateur : Éternel, ne tarde pas !

70: 1-6
This prayer to be delivered from enemies is almost identical to 40: 14-18. To "Eternal" it substitutes "God" to the vv. 2, 5-6.
2 (70-3) Let them be ashamed and confused, those who want my life! Let them retreat and blush, those who desire my loss!
3 (70-4) Let them turn back by the effect of their shame, Those who say: Ah! Ah!
4 (70-5) Let all those who seek you be glad and rejoice in you! Let those who love your salvation say incessantly: Exalted be God!
5 (70-6) I am poor and needy: O God, make haste for me! You are my help and my deliverer: O Lord, do not delay!
