THE REALITY OF LIFE

So euthanasia as suicide and murder are forbidden by the law of God in the Bible. In addition, suicide is a rebellion against God's commandments. The sixth commandment clearly says: "Thou shalt not kill" (15). This command implies the obligation not to commit murder. It is based on the sanctity of human life. We must remember that man was created in the image of God (16).
It is important to understand that the command is not written: "Thou shalt not kill another human being," or "Thou shalt not kill thy neighbor." It is simply written: "Thou shalt not kill."
